• If you register to use our Services as a Driver Partner, we may collect location details, profile picture, copies of government identification documents, and other details (KYC), vehicle-related documents such as insurance, pollution certificate, bank account details, utility bills, registration certificate, driving license, etc., and such other documents that evidence the health or fitness of the vehicle to provide Services on the CourierDost Apps, call and SMS details which may be shared with our customer while providing the Services.
• We collect background check and identity verification information of the Driver Partner. This may encompass information such as driver history or criminal record (where permitted by law), and right to work. This information may be collected by an authorized vendor on the Company's behalf.
• In the event you register as a Driver Partner, enable features necessitating CourierDost's access to other applications on Your device to prevent frauds towards the customers. In case the Driver Partner wishes to partake in the referral program, the contact list stored in the phone will be accessed by us post the Driver Partner consents to share such selected mobile number. We do not intend to share such selected mobile numbers with any third party.
• You may request to review the information you have provided, and CourierDost shall ensure that any personal information or sensitive personal data or information found to be inaccurate or deficient shall be rectified or amended as feasible.
• CourierDost shall not retain sensitive personal data or information longer than necessary for the purposes for which the information may lawfully be used.

HOW WE UTILIZE THE COLLECTED INFORMATION

We require this information to comprehend your needs and provide you with enhanced service, specifically for the following reasons:

You are required to keep your information and all other data you obtain on the CourierDost Apps strictly confidential.

DISCLOSURE

We may disclose certain personally identifiable information to third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Information you provide us such as name, email, mobile phone number, language.
• Information we collect as you access and use our service, including device information, location, and network carrier. We collect precise or approximate location data in foreground when the CourierDost Apps from the users' mobile devices if they enable us to do so. CourierDost collects this data from the time a ride or delivery is requested until it is finished, and any time the app is running in the foreground of their mobile device. We use this data to enhance your use of our apps, including to improve pick-up locations, enable safety features, and prevent and detect fraud. CourierDost collects the Driver Partner's location data and links location data collected during a trip with their customer's account, even if the customer has not enabled us to collect location data from their device. This enables us to offer Services to the customers like receipt generation and customer support.
• This information is shared with third-party service providers under contracts entered into with them so that we can:

• Personalize the CourierDost Apps for you to provide the smoothest experience.
• Perform behavioral analytics.
• Share information with our Vendors, Consultants, Marketing Partners, Research Firms, and other Service Providers or Business Partners such as payment processing entities, to support our Services.
• Share your information with our academic partners for the purposes of conducting academic research.

• If you are a Driver Partner with CourierDost, we may share your name, phone number, and/or profile picture (if applicable) with other users to provide them with the Services.
• We may disclose this information with Governmental Agencies, enforcement agencies, or other companies assisting us when obligated under applicable laws or in good faith or in compliance with any orders or processes; or detecting and preventing against actual or potential occurrence of identity theft, fraud, abuse of Services, and other illegal acts.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

As per Rule 3(1)(b) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, you shall not engage in any activities that:

• Belong to another person and to which the user does not have any right.
• Are defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of another's privacy including bodily privacy, insulting or harassing on the basis of gender, libellous, racially or ethnically objectionable, relating or encouraging money laundering or gambling, or otherwise inconsistent with or contrary to the laws in force.
• Are harmful to children.
• Infringe any patent, trademark, copyright, or other proprietary rights.
• Violate any law for the time being in force.
• Deceive or mislead the addressee about the origin of the message or knowingly and intentionally communicate any information which is patently false or misleading but may reasonably be perceived as a fact.
• Impersonate another person.
• Threaten the unity, integrity, defense, security, or sovereignty of India, friendly relations with foreign States, or public order, or cause incitement to the commission of any cognizable offense or prevent investigation of any offense or insult other nations.
• Contain software virus or any other computer code, file, or program designed to interrupt, destroy, or limit the functionality of any computer resource.
• Are patently false and untrue, and are written or published in any form, with the intent to mislead or harass a person, entity, or agency for financial gain or to cause any injury to any person.

In case of non-compliance with rules and regulations, Policy, or the terms of service, we reserve the right to terminate the access or usage rights of the users to the computer resource or the CourierDost Apps immediately or remove non-compliant information or both, as the case may be.

WITHDRAWAL OR NON-PROVISION OF DATA

Please note that you have the option not to provide the data or information requested. You may, at any time while availing the Services or otherwise, also have the option to withdraw your consent given earlier to CourierDost by contacting us. Such withdrawal of consent shall be communicated in writing to the body corporate. However, in such cases, CourierDost shall have the option not to provide any Services for which the said information was requested.
